Inconsiderate Morons
I'm annoyed at the disgusting and inconsiderate behaviour some people display. This morning on my way to work, I walked out of my house to get to the lift. And there, sitting very nicely on the ledge, was an empty ice cream cup.
For crying out loud, is it so difficult to hold the cup till you see a bin and dispose of it? It's such a disgrace to acknowledge I'm Singaporean sometimes. Proud as I am to be one, there are times I wish I wasn't...
I've heard of 'horror' stories at the workplace where a box of chocolates is being passed around to share. And somehow, for unknown reasons, the person who eats the last piece would put the empty box BACK into the fridge!!!
Why anyone would do that is simply beyond me... How much more trouble is it to walk to the bin and throw it away, compared to walking to the fridge to put it back?!
Worse still are people who throw stuff out of their windows... Don't they have a bin at home? This kind of misbehaviour is simply appalling! And we claim to be a modern, cosmopolitan city?! If you ask me, we are no better than 3rd world countries, if not worse...
People who commute to work via the MRT will identify with this... Well-dressed, smart looking young men, rushing for seats with the ladies. I've been shoved aside by their briefcases before and what annoys me is the pure look of innocence on their faces when you glare at them. So much for chilvary...
I can go on and on about the many ugly Singaporeans but lest I be seen as some stuckup Singaporean, I shall end here...
Enough said... for now...
