Happy Valentine's Day!!!

It is finally here, Valentine's Day, that is... A day where florists, restaurants and departmental stores cash in on the furor created by people who scramble out to buy romantic gifts for the significant other or for that special friend...

Was in town last night and it was like deja vu... When I was down town on Christmas Eve, buying last minute gifts.. Gosh, the queues at chocolate counters were endless!! People everywhere trying to buy presents... Needless to say, I was there with the same mission, except that I was there to buy nice chocolates for a V-day craft I wanted to do with my kiddos today. I was spoilt for choice... There were the conventional ones, there were unique ones that come in gorgeous packages... I was so tempted to pick out a few just for the heck of it... And I did.. :)

And guess what? I received a really special V-Day gift from one student. He drew me a picture of a castle and addressed it to me with the words, Happy Valentine's Day.. aww... so sweet..

Oh well, I haven't got any plans tonight... And I shall NOT go into town tonight.. :p
