crab, crabby, crabelicious!!!

-now listening to Heaven Knows by Rick Price-

Went to the new food court at Botanic Gardens with niceguy on Friday night and had crabs for supper!! Yummy... It was a recommendation by a colleague and being the foodie I am, had to try it. And it was all worth it. For $17 (some opening promo), I had a BIG plate of crabs. Because SOMEONE doesn't take spicy food, I had most of the crab to myself... *drool* But thanks to SOMEONE also, who kept both the original and carbon copy of the receipt, we had chilli crab instead of back pepper crab... :P
Eating crabs kinda brought back some memories, but well... It's to be expected, isn't it? That's one thing I will miss definately... And I'm feeling a tad more nostalgic today because it would have been a special day had things didn't turn out this way. (Notice the word 'would') 30th July would always be a memorable day. But, I am thankful for the recent turn of events.. Thank you for everything... :)

Digressing here... Back to the crabs.. It was absolutely yummy. The gravy was just nice, not too spicy, for me. Niceguy had 2 cups of teh-o peng and he was sweating!! Haha!! But the crab was really meaty.. I ate so much, I wanted to puke. Imagine eating crab till you wana puke. That's how much I had. I was having a lousy day until then. The crabs just made my day..

Then it was off to Altivo where I had my usual margarita. It was supposed to be crowded but it sure helps to know the manager on duty. Big thanks to Frank! He was super nice and especially during World Cup. Always manage to get us a table no matter how crowded it is.
After that, went to Mr Bean for another drink. The thing abt 24 hour places is that it screws up your time because it never closes!! So you just sit there and chat... I reached home at 5am... And needless to say, I got screwed big time by mummy. So, to redeem myself, decided to stay home all weekend... Hehe.. And I did, I even went to church for a dinner. How's that for being good? :P

But I gotta admit, it does feel good to be at home. Doing nothing and just lazing around. But I do enjoy going out too.. Anyways, this long entry is to make up for the last few days' absence...

It's back to work tomorrow... Sigh...
