im back!!!!!!!


yes, im back from my trip.... it was a good trip, in fact, it was so good, i was reluctant to come back... besides the fact that it was a relaxing holiday and i shopped till i dropped(literally), i felt as though i could adjust to life there... the food was good, people were extremely nice and not to mention the low cost of living there....

this trip allowed me to think through alot of things and i also realised how much we have in singapore... how much we take for granted.. simple things like clean drinking water and sanitation....

even in the university that i was helping out in, i could see the needs that they lacked... you will never see something like that in singapore.. not even in the most desolate corners of singapore... but despite all these, the people were happy and generally nice...
made quite a few friends from the university...

while we were there, it rained almost every night... and once it rains, it will most likely flood... the house we were staying in, the front porch flooded.... we heard that in some places, the water was waist deep... we were very fortunate to have been in the house when all these happened...

all in all, it was a great trip and i will go back there again... possibly next year...
