no mood...

Didn't feel like blogging yesterday, same for today... Went for a wedding this morning and guess what? The couple were in their late 40s and early 50s!! It took them 20 years to finally tie the knot... It was a very simple ceremony with a very small turnout. However, even a simple wedding has it's beauty. It was sweet to see them get married and everyone, epsecially their old friends were thrilled to see them finally married.

However, what touched wasn't the newlyweds but rather, another couple who have been married for more than 20 years. Here was the lady who had a stroke but because of her husband's love and dedication that spurred her on to work harder towards her recovery. Although she has to walk to aid, her husband happily declares himself her 'walking stick'. It was sweet to them so loving and the husband so attentive towards her.

I was wondering if there ever was one day this would happen to me, that I'll have someone who'll love me enough to stick by me 'in sickness and in health'....
