poor as a church mouse


That's what my boyfriend would call me at the end of every month... It's such a bummer being broke, especially on a weekend. Hate that feeling.
Yeah, I know, he'll go on and on about me spending excessively and saving up the money instead, blah blah blah... I know that but hey, a girl's gotta have what a girl's gotta have, right? And it's not as though I shop 24/7.. In fact, I hardly do it these days.
Enough about the griping, just had a good outing with my colleagues last night. In light of Teacher's Day celebrations, our dear principal and another P from the other centre planned a wacky food tour round Singapore, well, almost. I'm really glad for colleagues like mine, they are a really nice bunch.
