Wherefore art thou?


You were there when I was lonely,
you were there when I was happy.
I looked forward to times with you,
especially when I was feeling blue.
But suddenly one day,
and it still breaks my heart to say,
you were gone forever.
Where were you, I wonder?
Will you come back again
or will it all be in vain?
But until that day comes,
after I've agonised some.
